Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery - 20 Year Plan
Architect - John Miller + Partners

I was an Architectural Assistant of the John Miller + Partners team  that won the 2006 open international competition for the redevelopment of the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The scheme involved brings the Museum up to the standards required in a twenty first-century gallery.

The solution was a phased development consisting of a number of different packages to be undertaking when funding became available.

In late 2007 a planning sub-application was lodged for a new lift because currently the gallery access does not meet the DDA requirements.
